About This Project

Cool Gym Bro is a fitness community app. At Algoace I built most of its API in Node.js, TypeScript, Express and MongoDB, with 69 endpoints and 12 data models.

What the API covers:

  • Gym-ownership claims reviewed by admins
  • Nested comments, voting, reports and notifications using aggregation pipelines and text search
  • Gym verification, geolocation search, posts and push notifications
  • A Cognito email sender that decrypts verification codes with KMS
